New research presented at the in Melbourne has found the level of Government support to Aussie families with obese kids is woefully “inadequate”.

“We hear so much about childhood obesity in the media, yet if a family want to get some support from a health professional there really isn’t a clear place for them to go,” Dr Helen Vidgen from the Faculty of Health at Queensland University of Technology told AAP.

The . So what are we waiting for?! If the Government is serious about addressing the obesity epidemic, it needs to put the kids first, or we’ll all suffer for it.
