Tell us about what you do and why?
As a young adult, I battled with body image issues and it impacted my life in such a huge way, I missed out on a lot. The experience taught me that the human body is truly incredible and that it is essential we take care of it. I realised the importance of being healthy, happy and feeling good in your own skin. I learned how to love and appreciate my body. Fuelled by a desire to educate and help others realise the same, the following years saw me complete my studies in personal training, beauty therapy, massage, aromatherapy, natural health and nutrition.
My passion is teaching others to love the skin they are in, to find joy in movement, food and nourishment of their body. Doing this holistically using a combination of personal training, nutrition, beauty therapy and aromatherapy is what has me springing out of bed every single day!
Why are you such a firm believer in the IQS philosophy?
Everything about the philosophy makes complete sense to me. Eat real food, move your body daily, respect yourself and your environment.
Personally, I have always been conscious of what I put into my body and thought I was doing pretty well. After reading Sarah’s book and adopting the IQS philosophy, my own health was taken to another level. I have never experienced such abundant energy and feelings of clarity than I have since quitting the white stuff – now that has got to tell you something, right?
The IQS Team are coming for dinner. What are you cooking us?
Welcome guys! First on the menu would be my liver pâté. I am really loving playing with organ meats at the moment and this simple recipe of chicken livers, butter and spices is beyond delish! Next would be good ol’ fish ‘n’ chips. I make the best version of fish and chips (even if I do say so myself) – a beautiful wild caught salmon fillet cooked to perfection, served with sweet potato chips and a pistachio pesto dressing (this was an experiment that has since become a fave in my house). Dessert would have to be the IQS Chocolate Fudge. Yummmm.
Tell us your number one health tip in under 25 words.
